That's not really a good idea considering the overheating problems some 360's are having.

My 360 has not overheated. Has it gotten a lil warm during gameplay, yes! Overheated? Nope.

The people who have overheating problems are simply doing 2 things:
=Putting the console on the carpet
=Putting the power supply on the carpet

I like The Matrix one.

Mine is on the carpet (only place for it) and I've had no problems.

The reason for that is because the power supply gets ton hotter when its on the carpet..which causes the 360 to freeze

So what are we supposed to do with the power suppy then, have it magically hover above the carpet or floor? I'm just be sarcastic obviouslly but where should we place it then?

I'm not using a dresser, I'm using an entertainment center. No room for it there, I've thought about doing the running a string technique. So far, no problems have come with it on the carpet. So I'm not worried..
