I take it that the beaches of Normandy is even better than the first mission of Medal of Honor: Frontline?

i've actually never played Medal of Honor. if it's half as good as this mission was then i'm sure it was great.

Totally different, but each are incredible in their own right. COD takes place on a different location of the beach so the terrain is different (I do not want to spoil it for you). It is not a recreation of Frontline or Private Ryan, but the intensity is incredible. It does not look like the aforementioned two, but it is D-Day and absolutely one of the coolest things I have ever seen in a videogame. It rivals seeing Tyson for the first time in Punchout, playing Virtua Tennis for the first time, and a few other grand videogame moments over the years.

I just finished the game last night on regular. And in all honesty, I value my experience with it at easily $200. I think after I play the game and beat it on the next two difficulties, it will easily pay off my entire system as far as the benefit I have received. And this is only a launch title. Like Virtua Tennis with the dreamcast, COD 2 has paid for my entire system and I have already broke even. Everything else will just be icing on the cake.

When you get to a stopping point with COD, I would suggest snagging Frontline. It should only be around $8 or so and it is backwards compatible. As long as you are not a graphics whore after playing 360, it is worth going through. Albeit a different experience and a little more quite than COD.

After Frontline, check out Rising Sun. The overall game is kind of weak, but the first Pearl Harbor level is worth the $8 or so it will cost to play. European Assault has some cool levels, but I would wait until it gets cheaper. Defintely check out Frontline though.

Frontline is awesome and worth checking out Buddy.

I want to get this game but I'm working through Quake 4 right now and I just bought Need for Speed: MW last night. I would hate to have 2 FPS's at the moment.

Am I the only one having a hard time beating the game on Veteran? As for Frontline, it's pretty weak in comparision, even when compared to Allied Assault which had a much better beach landing mission. I'd suggest Allied Assault to anyone who can play games on their PC.

I don't own NFS-MW, but I really don't think you can compare a racer game to a shooter, I just love COD, so much fun Online.

still deciding huh? for me, it came down to the fact that i already had a racing game in project gotham 3, which i'm enjoying a lot. i also already have a shooter in pdz, but this is so different that i figured i could make room for it. i'm glad i made this choice because i seriously doubt i'd enjoy nfsmw as much as call of duty 2.

i just signed up for gamefly the other day and added nfsmw to my list. now that games are $60 a pop i figure it makes a lot more sense to try out the games that i'm on the fence about. i was deciding whether to get nfsmw, kameo, or tiger woods next. i couldn't choose so i've added them all to my list and i'll just purchase one of them if i end up enjoying it.

but yeah man, get COD2 you won't be dissapointed.

It's crazy man with these prices, but what are we going to do? Yeah, I'm still deciding. I just bought Quake 4 last week, and then I went out and bought NFS:MW last night but I didn't open that one yet. COD2 seems to be amazing from all that I have heard here from you guys. I wanted a racer to kind of break up the games that I have.

I own Madden, 2K6, Quake 4, and NFS:MW. It's kind of crazy that 4 games would cost $260 w/tax. Insane.

With such a slim amount of games coming over the next few months, I think for myself it's best to not buy too much now so I can have something to purchase later.
