    XBOX 360 question..

    i dont have high speed internet, but can i still download games etc. on Live for the month that i have it? and what are the gamerpoints? are those just for Live?

    Nope, you can't even plug in a dialup connection to the back of the 360 or the Xbox.

        You can do it. I did it. You jus need to share the dialup on you PC and put the XBOX on a switch or hub with your PC. Its slow as molassess but it works.

            I didn't say it was practical. I didn't try to actually play a game but I doubt that it would let you. I did try to download the Halo Maps just to see how long it would take and it would have taken all day. But my brother, when he came home from halfway across the country, and I were playing it when we were on dial up at our parents house on Thanksgiving and we were posting our scores on PGR3 to XBOX Live. Stuff like that works just fine.
