Hurricane Katrina and a busy work schedule has prevented me from playing Halo 2 in months.

(1) The 360 doesn't improve Halo 2 graphics much
(2) I really suck
(3) A lot of new maps and a sniper level since I last played.
(4) The graphics of COD2 and PDZ blow away Halo2
(5) Wish COD2 had the LAG RATE that Halo2 has.
(6) Halo2 is still an awesome game
(7) Halo3 will be something else.
(8) As with all good things I fear that Halo 3 will be delayed more than once.

Yeah i have to agree with number 4. I thought Halo 2 and some of the Tom Clancy's games looked beautiful when they first came out and I didnt think the graphics could get any better. But after playing COD2 on the 360 everyday and then playing Halo 2 and Summit Strike on the 360, u can definately see the differences. Graphics in COD2 are just way more crisp and detailed. Can't wait to see how future 360 games look later on the system's life cycle!

It's all relative. Halo2 looked so good that I wasn't too excited about the next generation systems. Then you actually see the difference and realize that there is a tremendous difference.

I thought the red one was new at some point though, one of the updates. I didn't think it was there for the original game.

Nope, Mike is right. The brute plasma rifle has been in the game all along. In Mplayer, you have to use special weapons options to get it in the game (it's not included with the typical alien weapons set).
