Microsoft retailer partner Best Buy confirmed it will sell additional shipments of Xbox 360 on December 18th.
If you are still waiting for a Microsoft Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, you can try Best Buy on December 18th when they are expecting a second shipment.
The nationwide retail chain will receive as many as 60 or as few as 20 Xbox 360 units per store, depending on location.
If you are still waiting on pre-orders from other retailers, chances are, you will not receive your Microsoft Xbox 360 before Christmas. Most retailers which include Wal-Mart, Electronic Boutique, and GameStop are saying the same thing, that most pre-orders will not be met until January or February 2006.
Microsoft has shipped 300,000 to 400,000 units for the North American launch, about 300,000 for the European launch and 100,000 for the Japanese launch, which took place Saturday, December 10.
Most Japan retailers only sold 30 percent to 40 percent of their inventory. Japan was no sell-out.
Maybe Microsoft should bring back those 60,000 to 70,000 Xbox 360 units and start filling those pre-orders. There are several people still waiting since mid November.

again, I feel sorry for those people that pre-ordered a 360 many moons ago, only to be told that it may now be january or february before getting them.
