NBA 2k6 is by far the best game available right now for the 360 if you are a sports nut like me... I give the game a 9.6 because it still has some problems that should have been fixed...

Madden 06 is a great game also but the controls could be a little sharper, and it has a few glitches but I would give the game a 8.8...

COD2 - is the best FPS I have ever played, EVER.... Online is a blast too me, although I would like a better set up, I hardly ever get any Lag, and its plenty of fun with just 8 players.... I give the game a 9.9....

PD0 - What can I say about this game?? I HATE IT... this is the absolute worse FPS I have played in my lifetime... I dont know if I was expecting something else or what, but the Graphics suck, the controls suck, and the overall game is just BAD... I give the game a 3.0.... and it will be going back to Gamestop in the morning..

FIFA 06 - This game is not the best FIFA that I have played, but it is definately the best looking FIFA game ever... I am having a lot of fun playing this game, I played a few games online 2 days ago and got my arse handed to me on 3 occasions, but I won once on PK's... I give the game a 8.5

Poject Gotham 3 - This is a game for the Simulation Racers, this is a hardcore game.... I think I need to play it a little more to give it a fair score, because right now I only have one car, and I suck at it... I am thinking the game is Midnight club or something... But as of right now I give the game a 6.0...

NBA Live 06 - Hmmm what can I say about Live??? It's not finished... This game could have been GREAT if EA would have just delayed the game and finished it. With that said I played the game for a week, and now I am getting rid of it, because I am so mad that EA put this game out unfinished, and I see the potential for what could have been... Here's to next year... I give the game a 7.3 just becaue its not finished...

I will be picking up NFS:MW 2morrow, and maybe QUAKE or Condemned i'm not sure yet..

For me

PDZ-I loved it once I got used to the different aiming style, plus most everyone on my friends list got it, so I have to learn to love it. I'd give it an 8.0

COD2-Best WWII game ever, and one of the best FPS I've ever played. There's so much going on all the time that after each mission, I had to put the controller down for 5 or 10 minutes to compose myself. Graphics and controls are top notch. I'm disappointed with the multiplayer setup because of no lobbies, but it plays well online. I'd give it an 8.5

NHL2k6-Bad graphics, a killer of a bug (see my post in the impressions thread in the 2k6 forum). The game did play better than the XBOX version up until the bug. I'm trading it in tommorrow for NBA2k6. I'd give it a 5.0

Quake 4-best multiplayer IMO on the 360. It's like UT and Q3Arena, plus some old maps make a valiant comeback. Single player is typical Quake/Doom, with lots of blood, gore, etc. I'd give this one a 9.0

Madden-I love the first step EA has taken (I know many don't) and can't wait to see next year's NCAA and Madden on this engine. I haven't played it online because I don't play with folks I don't know. This one is an easy 7.0

Arcade games
The only ones I've bought are Spades and Zuma, and the wife plays a lot more of those than I do. Spades locks up quite a bit, but once it's patched, it will be the most addictive and fun arcade game on live.

Zuma is well Zuma. Very entertaining.

I knew I should have gotten Quake instead of PDZ... I will just take it back 2morrow and pick up Quake for 10 bux more..

Raw I've enjoyed it, but I've always liked the fast paced online shooters like Unreal Tourney and Quake and Doom. If that's your taste, you'll love it. For a lot of folks, the fast paced shooters aren't their style.

I actually like them both fast paced and slow realistic shooters like GR2 Summit Strike...

Big props and thanks to the folks who recommended NBA2k6 on here. I went and rented it this morning and all I have to say is "wow". I don't really care much for the NBA, but what a great game. It is the most beautiful of all the sports games I've seen yet. Thanks again guys, proving why this is one of the primo gaming forums on the net.

Although the system is working fine right now, I'm still apprehensive about the temporary problem I had. On advice of Microsoft I disconnected my hard drive, but the problem was still there. Maybe when I turned it off the second time something took. As I said before they are sending me a shipping box that should arrive Tuesday. I'll play it by ear until then.

I rented Gun today. It's great. This is what I wanted out of Red Dead Revolver and didn't get. I don't even like westrens all that much,kinda like RPGs I'm very selective of what I like with them but this game is just awesome + playing it to Blaze of Glory makes it even better. The AI poker players could be better and some of the bulidings are oddly empty other than that great gameplay,great atmosphere,story,sound just about everything about it is great and graphics are ok,I like the little details like the tumbleweed and dust and how people act and dress,there's a gun fight in the middle of the town and I had nothing to do with it! I can't believe this got such mediocre reviews. 9/10

great fun, smooth as silk gameplay, online is a blast if you overlook the lag and the room shortcomings

NBA2k6 9.0
great representation of the NBA, smooth realistic animations as good/better than anything I've ever seen... a better lighting engine next year will put ths one out of reach, that said, it's the best sports game I've ever played to date

Need for Speed MW 8.8
I love the arcadey driving model, the lighting and graphics, the free roam mode and the huge city. the cop chases are the best and the drag races split screen are fun as well AI, and sounds are top notch.

Madden 7.9 not enough control but I think the game can be fun against a friend

RR6 7.9
cool game and addictive but visuals are sub par and the racing gets repetitive

I think the reason it got some bad reviews was because of the length of the game. I beat the XBOX version in less than a day and finished all the sidequests as well. It's a great rental, and I will probably buy the 360 version once the price drops.

For sure man, and when College Hoops comes out we gotta do a little Lofton-Watson vs Lofton-Watson.


I picked up Tiger today and for what it is, I'm really enjoying it. It looks great and it's the same ole Tiger with the hole-in-ones, etc, but it's fun to play with friends offline and online. I'd give it a solid 7 as of right now. I'm purposely not building up my character and shot a 76 on Tour Difficulty at Pinehurst. I've never really shot a round above par, so it was a treat. The analog sticks are a little trickier to get used to on the 360 as opposed to the XBOX.

Perfect Dark Zero - 8.5
great multiplayer and level design, but a horrible single player story.

Kameo - 8.5
i haven't played through very deep in this one yet, but the graphics are insane and it's a pretty fun platformer.

NBA 2K6 - 9.1
gameplay is a bit smoother than the xbox version and it's arguably the greatest basketball game ever. however, i expected more of a graphical update from the xbox version. they players look great up close, but Live is bit more polished graphically.

Call of Duty 2 - 9.5
fantastic game. easily the best shooter on the 360. veteran is truly the way to experience this one.

Project Gotham 3 - 8.9
the gameplay has been unchanged, so if you liked the last one you'll like this one too. graphics are nice and the online play is hard to beat.

Tiger 06 - 6.9
i tried to have an open mind while playing this, but Links has spoiled me. horrible commentary, lackluster ball physics, and just stale golf all around.

Need For Speed Most Wanted - 8.0
the actual driving in this game sucks for the most part. however, the way they begin the game and setup the story is very cool. running away from the cops is a lot of fun too, but this game will get old very quickly.


Xbox Live Arcade

Geometry Wars - 9.8
this is what the xbox live arcade should be about, just a flat out fun game. the only thing that could make this better is by somehow incorporating two player co-op play. there's always the next version (hint hint)

Bankshot Billiards 2 - 8.8
if you like Yahoo pool than you'll like this. this game provides many difficulty levels and challenging special modes such as golf tables. great game.

Hexic - 6.0
decent game, but one that just doesn't keep you wanting to play. it's usually more of a test of endurance than thinking.

Hardwood Spades - 6.5
good game if you like spades, but if not you're not missing anything. the graphics could be a bit better. not a whole lot to say about this one...

Gauntlet - 6.0
nice to see old games back around, but unless you're really fiending for retro play this isn't one that is a must have.

Smash TV - 7.5
if you haven't played smash tv before it's actually not a bad pickup for 400 points. fear factor has nothing on what these contestants are up against.
