    Re: 360 help??

I've had mine since day one and I have had no problems. My entertainment room is in my basement and is cooler than the rest of my house especially during the winter. I mention this because some people have complained about overheating systems. I've had no problem at all. If you can grab one don't hesitate. I kid you not this thing is worth the hype. I don't think I could ever go back to PS2 or original Xbox.

This from a previous thread I started:

      COD2 Caused My 360 Problems??

Both times my 360 went into flashing red (on console) lockdown mode, I lost a connection or had a freeze up on COD2. I was able to correct the problem by removing the harddrive a couple of times and turning it ON and OFF a few times.

What is the part that gets the hottest when it overheats and how long do you have to play? I played mine for about 2 hours out of the box and it wasn't even really warm yet.

I'm pretty sure its the actual power brick, not the system, that gets so hot. As long as the area around the system isn't enclosed, you should be fine with no problem. To answer the question, I know 3 people including me that have 360's and no problems to report as of yet.

I have 5 people on my friends list who have had no problems either and we've been playing quite a bit.

I've had mine on for hours before (I'm talking 8+) with no over heating. It's in a well ventilated area and the room is kept comfortable. Not hot not cold.
