    Same here, I didnt have the cables plugged in all the way on the xbox.

        It has to be a cable problem...Yesterday I was packing up my 360 and I unplugged it and such but I forgot to take NBA 2K6 out of it. So, I only attached the AC adapter/BLOCK and turned the system on and there was the red ring...It has to be a cable man, I don't think it's the system itself. Just my opinion...

            I had the 3/4 Red Circle come up THREE times in a 7 day period, all after an online COD2 freezeup. I got it working after removing the harddrive, but last time all I did was turn the power off using the console and then turned it on and off again using the controller.
