    Play and charge kit question

Does the USB wire from the play and charge kit only supply power to the wireless controller - to recharge the batteries, or does it make the controller actually function like a USB device while playing?

In other words, will the controller continue to use a wireless communication channel while connected to the console, or does the comm. channel change to a USB interface?

I ask this because I'm wondering if it's possible to use the wireless controller with a PC.

    Thanks.

It looks like the wireless controller is only a wireless controller, not USB. Oh well.
