Any place I can return unopened video games?

I heard you could at Walmart but when I called they said you need a receipt. Trying to return the PGR3 that my 360 came with.

Walmart has never needed a receipt that I know of.

And I'm sure they won't on Monday .....

WalMart wouldn't let me return the unopened games I got from my Toys R Us bundle.

Why don't you return it where you bought it? (not trying to be a smartass there, just curious)

Think because it was part of a console bundle where he bought it.

Don't tell them you got the game from another store. Say that someone in your family bought this as a gift for you, but you didn't want too break it to them that you had already gotten the game. That you know they bought the game from there.

Now if there's any price tags, etc on the packaging. Then you've got a problem and may want to try and use the same word game tricks on the place the game was bought from. Most stores will give you store credit.

Better to have someone go with you so they can say they bought it for you and lost the receipt.

All you have to do with Walmart is tell them you got it as a gift. Worst case scenario is they give you a Walmart/gift card instead of the cash.

I have done this numerous times, and never once had an issue.

Do these stores print on the receipt somewhere that you can't return individual items from these crazy bundles they sell? If not you are entitled to a refund no different than if someone bought a PS2 and a game and then decided they wanted to return the game...it's no different unless they put it on the receipt.
