yes I do, but that too got everyone's attention focused on Sony. And with this statement they are doing the same thing.

While people such as yourself don't buy into it because of Sony's track record, others will believe it, or at least think that Sony is giving it a valiant effort.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I gotta agree with you there, guess I didn't think of it that way. While we know the track record isn't good, Joe Schmoe reads it and gets really excited. Good point.

        Re: Sony pushing PS3 cell

I think the PS3 could be Sony's last console because the CELL is a multimedia chip that will be very difficult to develop games for. IT cannot possibly challenge the Intel Pentium chips since the CELL would be extremely inefficient running Norton Anti viral software or CPU operating software with such limited access to memory , very tiny pipelines, in order execution only logic, and lack of branch prediction. The CELL is really a lot of hype and not much substance. Do not be fooled it is VERY unlikely that any of the CPUs in the next generation consoles will ever appear in desk top PCs
