    Nintendo banking on Revolution?

In a recent article from PC Magazine's Editor-In-Chief, Jim Louderback, Louderback stated that "unless the Revolution is a home run, Nintendo will fade by the fall".

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Not even in the mood to read this article. So far, the first thing I see on there is a big fat opinion with no basis. Nintendo s still pulling gamers. They're doing well. I'm pretty sure that their games will be appealing enough also. I know when i get money and time, I'd be buying it. Can't make a prediction unless there's some solid evidence to show that. They're just speaking out their neck.......

I'm grabbing mine day 1 that's for sure too.

And... if it does fail N still make more money than the others on their handhelds alone anyway.

It won't fail though. Every Gamecube owner is gonna buy the new Zelda. Then every other Zelda fan in the world will buy it to play on the Revolution. Then it will pull new fans because of how good a game it will be.

There's a million consoles sold right there

Add the amount of people buying it for all of the old nes, snes, n64 and (possibly) genesis games.

Then the people buying it because it's remarkably cheaper than 360 and PS3.

Then the new gamers like girls/girlfriends, parents etc... buying it because the new controller (and no doubt interesting and addictive marketing, tv ads) suddenly makes them interested in gaming.

        It will succeed.

Nintendo makes some of the best games. From what I hear they never take to much of a beating on their consoles. And they make up for it on their mega franchices.

Although B. Gates would love for that to be true cause he'd pay billions to get Mario on the 360. But it ain't ever gonna happen. Nintendo is by far my favorite games company.

The Nintendo DS is the fastest selling video game system in the history of japan outselling even PS2. Nintendo makes so much money on its handhelds that, even if the revolution flops, Nintendo will always be around.

I'll be getting one to along with the PS3. Should be the perfect combo.

If anything, the PS3 and 360 need to be home runs, because financially, they're much bigger investments.
