well given the source "xbox today" I believe that I will not even view this article already having some idea as to what it may say.

Xbox is better than PS3 either a little or a lot?

correct me if I am wrong please

Come on CB it ain't that bad. Actually it's not pro anybody. They call it even but they did have some comments on why Sony needs to walk very carefully this time when it comes to it's developers.

"I have no real opinion about Blu-ray. As all the parameters with either Blu-ray or HD DVD standards weren’t finalized until recently, even the PS3 hardware shipped to developers uses standard DVD. Which is fine because creating content is expensive and I shudder at the cost of a game that would fill a Blu-ray disk with meaningful content. One or two DVDs is orders of magnitude more than enough for even 1080p HD TVs. Movies you ask? Playing movies on your game console is so ghetto.

As far as I’m concerned it’s a fairly even fight, with the home turf advantage to Sony and the resource advantage to Microsoft. But Sony needs to be careful. Their attitude and relations with developers have been pretty strained. Sony’s past market dominance has let them to dictate harsh terms for approvals and distribution that combined with the difficulty of developing for their platforms has driven quite a few talented people I know to the Xbox corner. And it’s the sweat and tears (haven’t heard of any blood yet) of the game makers that can make or break a platform."

"Flops" don't make a platform, people do.

Maybe if you would click on the link you would see. The site has a link to an article that they wrote on reasons to wait for a ps3 so I don't think that they have any problem being objective.

what is the real point of this article? Is it just comparing and contrasting between ps3 and xbox 360? In the end it doesn't matter, choose what system suits your tastes. For me it is so far the ps3.

There is no way they can compare a finished product to whats on paper that is subject too change. This is premature speculation just as the arstechnica and beyond 3d articles. No one has a clue about what the RSX specs will finally be. So they should change the title to purely conjecture and speculation because we don't have a clue about the PS3.

Supposedly, but what has been taken so long, if it is just an overclocked G70?

Again, if it was as easy as you say "overclocked G70" the same rank speculation as B3D and Ars. Last I remember, Dean stated it will be from a family of their new cards and yet it will be a hybrid to work with the cell. So who knows what the hell it will be, all we have seen is paper work nothing more nothing less.

well it's not an off the shelf G70 of course but it needs to be implemented into PS3.

to hope that it will be anything near as original and specific as Xenos (with features to compare or exceed) is wishful thinking IMO

The PS3 is plenty powerful with Cell to worry about RSX not being as good as Xenos

The systems will be equal on the screen (through different hardware strategies) and overall quality will be based on how well the devs produce the games.

Again more speculation, let it go because no one "KNOWS.

I just don't see how you compare something thats out with something still being produced.

I did click on the article and yes to my surprise it wasn't extremely biased. But I still dont' know how ideas on paper compare to whats actually in front of us.
