Halo 3 preorders taking place

According to the article, retailers are taking pre-orders for Halo 3 without a definite release date.

My local EB and Gamestop are not taking them.

Gamecrazy is taking HALO 3 and PS3 preorders already. It's stores like this that are what helped generate the 360 shortage. They will over book preorders and this will result in Gamecrazy overbooking.

Gamestop is just doing a name on the list for preorders deal. You place your name and phone # on a list, and they will call you when you can place $50 down in the next few weeks.

Gamecrazy is the game store part of HOLLYWOOD VIDEO. They have some rude employees at the GameCrazies that I've been to.
