If you have a premium system...you don't need a memory card. The HDD it comes with takescare of that.q

The franchise modes in Madden and NBA 2k6 were taking about about 3 meg each. So.. that 64 meg card is going to work for you just fine!

the only thing about the memory card compared to the hard drive (beyond MORE space to save games and what not) is that in sports games that have halftime full motion highlights (i.e. NBA 2k6) you will not get full motion....if you have a memory card you will only get still pictures...but if that isn't such a big deal, go with the memory card...

You also can't download stuff from Marketplace like arcade games or extra content.

yeah i had a memory card for a few days before my hard drive came in. it's fine if you're going to be doing nothing but game saves, but otherwise you need to shell out the extra money and get that 20 gig hard drive.

Great info! I might get the hard drive if they are not sold out. I just called my local Best Buy and they said they have 2 left. If not, I'll get the memory card.

I just bought the last hard drive from Best Buy and some Xbox live stuff. I'll post if I need help with installation or registering.
