Sounds like your cordless phone and wireless network are on the same channel.

I don't have a Linksys router in front of me to walk you through changing the channel on that, but that's what I'd do. If you know how to get into the configuration screen, then do that and look around for the channel setting. Change that. I'm not sure what to change it to as I don't know if you have 802.11a, b or g?

You could also try changing the channel on your phone. I'm just not sure if that will stay on that channel or revert back to default and interrupt your wirless network in the future.

I believe the default channel for wireless routers is 6, I would try 1 or 11.

Ok, so I've been online working with a guy from linksys trying to figure it out, so after about 30 mins, he tells me that i need to call because it is a complicated issue.

Here's what I've done so far...
I've set up a static IP
I've got port forwarding on two different ports, 88 to 88, forwarded to the IP of my 360, the other is 3074 to 3074, same as before. Do I choose TCP or UDP or both?

Also, do I need to enable DMZ like someone said before?

Everytime I run the test on the 360 dashboard, everything is fine except for the NAT comes back as "strict," whatever that means. According to the details, that's bad.

Anybody know if its possible to change the NAT (Network Address Translation) on a router?

EDIT: Nevermind it is possible. The problem was that my NAT was coming back as strict, so I couldn't hardly make a good connection with anybody. A person with Linksys online ran me through some things and I had to enable UPnP and Multicast Pass Through and now my NAT is open. It's about time.
