    Sourcing...

Anyone else find it weird that only a year or two ago if the news was not from IGN or Gamespot it wasn't that credible. But, now I see all message boards sourcing gameshout and joystiq and sites that really don't seem too credible, or require actual journalism. Then major press newspapers/magazines start sourcing message boards.

Not to give IGN or Gamespot more credit than they deserve, but there is an aura of professionalism one should look at when sourcing, like interview quotes rather than summaries. <- OS.com and the majority of the OS message board community do an awesome job of using quotes.

    Thoughts?

At the height of the next-gen introduction, cats are looking everywhere for some relevant info. Those 2 sites just happen to bring the news faster than GS or IGN nowadays. With the lack of news for the PS3, ppl will listen to just about anything.

Well, it looks like a cheaply made website that is'nt as large. Also, from the looks of it, they seem to get most of they're stories from mags or other things. I would'nt put much stock into the site myself.
