I am curious as to how good this game will be. Is it possible that we may have a game to actually rival the GTA series?

As am I, I don't think it will take GTA's spot, but I do expect a decent challenge from it.

As long as you can aim worth a crap because usually the targetting system is the downfall of these GTA clones. It doesn't matter if the graphics are awesome, the online play is fantastic and the stories are well written if you can't shoot the people you want to shoot and die because of it.

Well they have said over and over that the shooting is one of their stronger points and is based off of 1st person shooters.

One thing I wonder:

Will it be all out killing? So as soon as you log on, everyone is just killing people? I mean, are there going to be penalties for dying besides just respawning?

It'd be sick if it were more real-life than an all-out kill fest. :o I'm interested in hearing more about this game.

Well obviously it wont take over GTA's spot right away but I have a good feeling in the future it possibly could or atleast compete side to side.

the only thing that worries me in the multiplayer is some little kid starts yelling all of the modern street sayings in the microphone. "I just busted a cap in yo' *** biatch!!!". you just know it's coming.

it wont take GTA's spot cause GTA never really had a spot on the XBOX. this is the xbox, well 360's own thing, gta was a ps2 thing that converted to the xbox almost a year later.

i dont think there really is a competition, cause gta-next gen will come out for the ps3 and prob not the 360.

I thought Riddick was one of the prettiest games on the XBox, it had great atmosphere. I can't wait to see what those guys can do with the 360.

Starbreeze is developing a game called The Darkness. It's coming out in 2007. Also Riddick 2 sometime after.
