MP3 Players With 360

[NYJets]

When I plug my MP3 player into 360 it doesn't recognize it. Is there something you need to do to set it up, or is mine just not compatible?

I have a 30 gig Creative Zen Xtra.

You have to have the Play For Sure firmware in order for the 360 to recognize it. Check out Creative's website to download the firmware.

I have a 40GB Xtra and I have been really hesitant on updating the firmware for the Plays For Sure feature. I have read alot of horror stories from the new update; check out a few of these sites and see if it is worth the risk for you:

i took the plunge a month ago with my 60gig Xtra and i've had ZERO problems with the Firmware upgrade.

I have a Dell DJ and I have stayed away from the Play for Sure firmware too. Assuming you have backed up all your mp3s on your computer i'd just use the Windows Media Connect to get your music on the 360.

I have a Dell DJ 30 Gig, and I have the Play for Sure firmware for 2 months now, zero issues.

all the problems are the same reason i haven't upgraded my 20gb zen touch.
