    Component cables?

Are the component cables that you can buy better than the cables that come with the system? I noticed the colors were off last night on my 360 and come to find that I had to hold up the A/V cables with something to get a good conection and proper colors.

    Re: Component cables?

That just doesn't sound right. I have had no problems with the component cables that came with the system and have definately not had to hold them up with anything.

BTW on a somewhat related subject. I bought the vga hd adapter($40) and hooked it up to my pc monitor. Wow, does it look really crisp and clear. If people don't mind playing on a pc monitor you can save a boatload of money by not buying an HDTV.

My TV has hooks up for a PC do you think I should buy the VGA adapter and use that instead of cables? BTW I should clearify what I meant by "holding the cables up". I pull my system out of the entertainment center for good ventalation when playing and the cables came down just a tad out of the 360 so I placed a game case under them to fix it. I also just pulled some more slack out of the cables, maybe it was just too tight. Thanks for your help though.
