I've heard from people that it won't be a BIG one so to speak just a lot of small ones. My lil sis' boyfriend works at the local best but in the videogames section and that is what he told me.

Yeah, I don't think there will b any more "after-shock launches" so to speak. You'll just have to get lucky and go in on the right day.

This is some BS. You mean I need to get lucky and search around for a system that should be on store shelves by now? MS really screwed this all to hell. I plan on getting one in Febuary and if I have trouble finding one, I may hold my money for something else....say, a preorder on a PS3.

Agreed. I'm really soured on having to scour stores to be able to spend $400-500 on a console and extras. At this point I don't want to hear "well you're going to have to get lucky at a store (*gut laugh*)" anymore. All that makes me want to do is punch someone in the face.

I may even steal the kiosk 360.

To this day, all I've heard so far are 1 or 2 360s here, a few Premiums there and tumbleweeds everywhere else. They need to get on the ball or else they will lose a few potential customers such as myself.

Does anyone remember how this was during PS2s beggining. I need a glimmer of hope or something.

PS2 was the same way. I bought one about 4 weeks after launch and sold it on eBay for $250 profit or so.

It was at least March until PS2's started being easy to find. I remember Best Buy getting them, and there being a line of people there every day because no one had any idea. Unlike the 360 where some people sort of had a clue when they were coming in, PS2's came in here and there.

As of 2:00pm today Sarasota, Fla had 6 cores on the shelf as well as hard drives and all accessories. No bundle required!
