I'd definitely like to do the Tivo thing. Too many basketball games on that I'm missing. Heck, even if we could exchange joints through the marketplace.
well its like mp3 download programs, my mp3s get messed up sometimes and i can download it again from the database. it'll be the same for xbox...as far as price of games, it'll cut out a ton of stuff from shipping, packaging, creating cds and cases. So much is being cut out if its downloaded. games will probably be 25 bucks.Comment

I wouldn't count on downloadable games being any cheaper than store bought games. Are MP3s any cheaper than buying the full CD at Best Buy? No. It's about the same.
The cost of packaging is nothing. The majority of the cost for a game is the developement and marketing, neither of which goes away if you download the game.
You know what I can see them doing? Selling the d/l game for a bargain $50, now that they rose prices to $60 for 360 games.Comment

Re: 360 Upgrades to rule the world?!
Depends on how many points they cost.
Let's say 5000,based on the pool game costings 1200 and that being an arcade game. Prices are $59.99 and $69.99 here. They say cutting out the middle man and that's where it gets raised $10 so in the end this should come out to at least $10 less than current prices.
I've only ever seen 1250 cards and they cost $18.93,should also mention there's none left. $18.93 x 4 = $75.72 and that's before tax is added in. As someone else said you can't resell it or trade it in and also it'll probably take up quite a bit of the HD. So I fail to see how this is good.
Far as the MP3 thing it depends how many songs are on the cd.Comment

Far as the MP3 thing it depends how many songs are on the cd."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment
