Possible Playstation 3 Launch Titles

Several Playstation 3 games have been included in a list of games to be released found on the Japanese Playstation website, which could be an indication of some possible launch titles for the new console.

Both date and price for the games were listed as uncertain, however, the fact that they were the only PS3 titles named suggests that they will be among the earliest released.

The games listed were:

The Eye of Judgement
Genji 2 (Action)
Angel Rings (RPG)
Monster Carnival (Action RPG)
Everybody’s Golf 5 (Sport)
Gran Turismo Series (Racing)

Exactly, all those games with the exception of GT sound like Jap only games. I'm sure here in the states, they'll have more familiar titles.

Yeah Sony needs to do better than that in the US. As long as I can buy Formula One Season 2006 and GT5 that's all I need.

They will it's called Forza Motorsports 360. Back to GT5 if Sony releases the same graphics upgrade with the poor gameplay this time around i'll pass.

Well, Genji 2 has to be the sequal to Genji: Dawn of the Samurai which saw a US release and is currently on sale for $20.

I bet it will be if PS3 comes to NA in the Fall. But if it makes it this Spring, I think they already said MGS4 won't be ready then.

Yeah only recognize GT and Genji out of those titles, prob a Japan release line-up.

Sony drops Japanese PS3 titles from PlayStation site.
