Can someone recommend a good LCD montor for console gaming with XBOX with range of what it would cost?

I use a 19" Samsung 930b to play my x360 on, it looks terrific. Runs about $400 but you can usually get rebates on it.

I like Viewsonic. LG and Samsung make good monitors as well. Just make sure it can do 8ms and under on the refresh rate. This cuts down on the blurring effect.

4ms is ideal !

Yep Samsung and LG HD LCDs are on top IMO. I have a Samsung, just amazing...

I have a sharp 26" that is awesome. You should just get an LCD TV for a few 100 more.

I am too interested in buying a LCD monitor for a better picture on my 360. are there any good ones in the $200-300 range.

I would try Office Depot they have a great selection on flat panels that are priced right.

I just got a Dell 24" LCD monitor today and it is pretty dam sweet.

My friend got a Visio L32 (on my recommendation) and i have to say its pretty noice. On the dell, id have to say thats not too good of a choice as their customer service is nonexistant when it comes 2 their tvs...

Yup, I agree. I have had mine for about 3 months and it's the best damn monitor I've ever seen. And for about a grand, you cannot beat the price.

Yeah it is great. Right now I'm typing this with the tv playing in the upper right hand corner. There is just so much room to play with. The only problem I am having is when I try to hook up my xbox to it with component or s video the picture is subpar. Do you know anything about this? Any help would be greatly appreciated db. I also noticed there isn't any audio inputs for the component or s video, am I missing something? I was hoping I would be able to play my xbox in HD on the monitor since I am having no problems with my 360 on it.

Other than that small problem with the xbox picture this monitor is outstanding. It is like using my pc on a tv it is so spacious.

As far as dell customer service, I can't speak for that. I have had a dell pc for a over year or so and never had any problems with it and have been very happy with it and my new dell lcd monitor. I ordered the monitor on the 17th and received it yesterday.
