Yeah, I read the interview in the EGM and I was shocked at how hard hitting it was. He didn't suck up at all, it was great. I would love to see them do a "both barrels" piece like that with EA, but I doubt any of EA's top dogs would have the stones to face that kind of heat.

It seemed like there were some loaded questions that tried to get him to say something bad about MS and the Xbox.

It sounds to me like the interviewer was against the Xbox 360.

There is only one problem with the launch of the XBOX 360 and that is TIME. Great Games take time to make and tweak. How can u fault microsoft when the publishers should bear the brunt of the blame.

What a BS interview. Its not like Microsoft can say hey EA your launch titles suck, dont release them till they are better. If they did that EA could stop publishing games for the system.

Once the titles start rolling in Xbox 360 will be an unbelieveable platform. I just don't get the negativity.

Why should anyone be surprised it's a "Pro Sony" website plain and simple. The first splash screen is pimping Sony Playstation 2 online. I read the first page and got turned off, not because i'm pro anybody but because it was down right rude and disrespectful.

When you are part of any media or press and whether you are covering politics, Hollywood, gaming, sports or anything else you are supposed to show respect and be objective when you interview someone.

Moore carried him self with class and fired right back at the interviewer. Needless to say that ends my visit to 1up.com unless I want Sony news !

Well, MS just as guilty

- Very long-winded kit distribution
- Taking out the hardrive, giving developers less options.
- Expecting developers to grasp a brand new programming model in time for their rushed launch.
- Approving $60 PS2 ports such as GUN.

Thanks I didn't know that. That explains why they gush over anything that has to do with Sony. And why they get either sarcastic or defensive when it has to do with Microsoft.

Needless to say I won't visit that site again.

I don't get why you'd expect an interview of a PR boss to not include things on gamer's mind. Pretend the backwards compatibility isn't a joke...many people traded in their systems expecting MS having Ninja Gaiden Black before Sneakers emulated...when they claimed the top-selling games would be playable. Do you consider Sneakers top-selling/high profile?

Well we certainly stirred the pot with this one...! Just wanted to reassure you that I thought the interview was very fair and balanced, as well as somewhat entertaining...

I think it is good for the industry that we do more interviews of this tonality...don't stop at me...
