1 game in 3 months for 360?
Is anyone else upset that theres been only one game (DOA, which was supposed to be a launch) released since launch for the 360? The next game wont come out for another month now, 2/20. Thats 3 months with in essence no new games. When the new ones do come out, there are only a handful. I dont think they original xbox went this long from launch titles to no new titles. Hopefully the developers are using this time to further understand the 360's power, but right now i feel kind of stuck with out any games i need to play. Madden is horrid, nba2k6 and fifa are about all that gets turns now in the 360. I think the thing that has hurt me most is no college hoops yet, and fight night getting delayed. Maybe i need to try tiger."Basketball may have been born in Massachusetts, but it grew up in Indiana." - James NaismithTags: None -

read IGN's article posted today on GRAW. These next games are going to be leaps and bounds better than the launch games. Im fine waiting... im busy with school anyway.... Plus i think FNR3 comes out 2/14... thats not much longer -

It's better to not anticipate for games because psychologically it can have an effect on you, making you think the days are going slowly on purpose before the game comes out.Comment

There will be more games on the way, just need to be patient. The first year is usually dry with only a few games released.Comment

Every launch has been like this. How long till games came out again for the Xbox or PSP. It's just how launches go.Comment

I remember the PS2 launch..Myself personally didn't buy a game between launch Oct 2000, until Summer 2001 when GT 3 came out.Comment

Not surprised by the drought. There's some good stuff coming out in the next two months, though. I'm getting FNR3, GR:AW, and Saint's Row. I just hope the March release dates for the last two titles, stick.XBL: Mean Greene

It looks like a pretty signifigant delay for Saints Row which sucks. I just read a nice article about it in OXM and was looking forward to causing chaos.

Fight night is now looks like it was pushed back a week to 2/20/06.
March/April looks to filled with huge releases and the current gen xbox is still putting out some very solid games.Last edited by Pratt75; 01-25-2006, 10:15 AM.Comment

Re: 1 game in 3 months for 360?
Yet another reason why anyone without a 360 now shouldn't be sh*tting bricks. Between the dearth of titles since launch and the growing number of defective consoles, it's probably best to wait a bit.
Take care,

Re: 1 game in 3 months for 360?
I know how the original poster feels. I have NBA 2K6, and Call of Duty. (Traded in Madden and PD0) And I remeber the PS2, X-box and PSP launches. (The PSP game drought was so bad I sold mine to a friend this fall.) I have't turned on my 360 in about two and a half weeks. That is sad for a system with such great cababilities. I have , FN3, GOW, Ghost Recon, and CH 2K6 all reserved but, I'm still not using my system enough. I think that game developers and MS have kinda dropped the ball with this. I mean once I have to start paying off my PS3 I'm not going to have a lot of cash lying around for games at $60 a pop anyway, so there is this void where I'm not buying games for the 360 but spending that money elsewhere.Moderator

Re: 1 game in 3 months for 360?
The problem i have is the only good sports games are fifa, which is terriblly short, and nba 2k6, but Im struggling with it now for the following reasons. Im a die hard pacers fan, and while i dont mind playing without ron artest in the game, everytime i play it i get pissed about the situation, which came to a head last night! I was all ready and excited to go into 2k6 and trade ron for peja, then out came the news the deal was off, and i about crapped. Its a sorry excuse not to play the game, but im just pissed at the nba right now, especially the whole pacer situation (losing by 30 to the cavs last night didnt help). I need a new game, and was hoping ghost recon would be here by now as well as ch2k6. I have been through all the launches, from atari on, and have pretty much every console imaginable. I dont remember a drought like this though, except for the psp. Maybe its becuase im not happy with any of the games out now, but I feel i have no options when i go to a store and look for something to get."Basketball may have been born in Massachusetts, but it grew up in Indiana." - James NaismithComment

Re: 1 game in 3 months for 360?
Only thing I'm worried about is the games that are slowly trickling out end up sucking. If these games that are to be released in the next few months end up being pieces of ****, then I may be a lil upset. I'm looking foward to Full Auto and FN3 in Febhttp://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment
