I was wondering the same thing...I have like 27 days left until I can't get a Circuit City warranty thing either, not sure if either's worth the money

IMO it's a no brainer. I sent it off on the 23rd of November.

I agree however, I only got the one year warranty for EBgames. Then I will get a new 360 regardless how the old one is working towards the end of the warranty. I went thru 3 PS2's in 5 years.

You could always buy another 360 from best buy and swap the serial # stickers if your 360 breaks after the warranty.

I sent mine out then but about 2 weeks ago, they sent my check back along with a letter that says that I didn't put the serial number on there. They sent me a return envelope too but i'm going to just get a money order and send it back.

I sent it in as well. They cashed my check, but I haven't heard back. I guess I expected something in return that stated my warranty.

I got the one year from EB too and I'm going to do exactly the same thing. The person that checked me out at the register told me to do it. He said just bring it back in october and we'll give you a new one and those should have any bugs fixed.

You will get some type of contract of the warranty, trust me, Thats what they gave me for the first xbox. They also charged my credit card too for the warranty.

I got it and sent it off a couple of days later. Its for two years, and you can renew it. So I just figured not having to buy a new 360 for the lifespan of this gen. Spend $60 every two years instead of buying another one, why not.

Even if you got it at launch you can still get the warranty right now if you call them.

Abates check with your local EB manager cause my buds who are managers and work there told me my warranty is 15months total. IOTW your 12 month warranty starts the day Microsofts warranty expires.

So it sounds to me your warranty runs past October 2006.
