I checked IGN and nothing yet for XBOX. I hope they pull one together soon as it would be interesting to see.

The 2 numbers that interest me the most coming into 2006:

5. MVP Baseball 2005 Electronic Arts 970k
18. Major League Baseball 2K5 2K Games 547k

I want to see what MLB2K6 does all by itself, but maybe more people will buy MLB06 on the PS2.

Another set of numbers that is kind of scary looking at:

9. SmackDown vs. RAW '06 THQ 758k
38. WWE SmackDown vs. RAW THQ 363k

Figure SDvRAW came out in 2004, so the game sold a boat load in '04. Then in 2005 SDvRAW06 is released in November, while from January to November people are still buying last years game.

THQ combined for SDVRAW sold = 1.121 million units

That has to be something to really be proud of.

Now, if only they would spend time putting out a quality game like that on the XBOX. I'd love to have something nice to wrestle wth. Hopefully 360 brings over a few great titles worth buying. Would definitely love to see a real "Legends" wrestling game hit the 360.

I want to see what MLB2K6 does all by itself, but maybe more people will buy MLB06 on the PS2.

If the numbers this year are similar to last year then it only goes to prove that people will buy EA stuff even without the MLB liscence. So it's going to be very interesting to see if the common video game consumer buys based on brand name or the liscence.
