    Free FULL version of FFXI 360?

    A Gamestop employee just told me that the latest OXM has a full version of Final Fantasy 11. Its free right now, but once the original drops you have to pay for the on-line portion. Can anyone confirm this?

          What has to be paid to play online on 360? Is there an extra fee or does XBOX Live cover it??

              It's a beta version. You can play for free until the retail version comes out. It takes a long time to get it running (lots of downloads). The graphics are pretty bad. I guess its a straight port. Not really my kind of game.

                  I've honestly never played FFXI or any online RPG type for that matter but I did receive this in OXM I believe. So to the poster above, do you consider WoW to be the best?

                              been playing it for 3 weeks now. I also played WoW for a year and a half. I actually like this more since it's tougher to reach max level. WoW is for casual players and FFXI is for "hardcore" players. I just like that when i complete something in FFXI i feel like i've put time into it and accomplished something (leveling up, crafting, and even adventuring into dungeons with groups). I'm thinking of getting a subscription but not on my 360.

                                  How the heck do you uninstall it from your 360? It's not my cup of tea either and I can't figure out how to get rid of it.
