XBOX live question?

I will be getting Wild blue satelite internet, at 512 kbps is that fast enough for XBOX Live and can you play live with satelite internet?

Nope, satellite internet doesn't work well with games. It's speed is fast enough, but the response time ( latency ) is actually worse than dial up. Satellite internet doesn't send out a steady stream of information, like dsl or cable, it sends information in bursts.

So you'd need to get another internet connection to play games on live. DSL is cheaper most of the time, cable is usually faster.

You have to have high speed internet to use Vonage.
