Maybe provide a small discount if Core owners want to purchase a hdd.
How would they be able to determine who was a core owner? I'd definitely buy another one myself just in case. Definitely wonder when they'll start tossing out the different sizes.

If the cores have a different serial number than the premiums then it could happen. Of course I don't think it will even if they do have two different serial numbers.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I think that microsoft should've gone with the premium systems only. Especially if they knew this. You know there were alot of people who bought a core system for their kids and people who really could afford 100.00 more. They used that extra 100 for accesories and stuff like that. Oh well what can you do. I do believe microsoft should put out a coupon for core owners to get a good discount.. It could work because if I'm not mistaken there should've been a registration card in the box. If you mailed it like you should have then they know what kind of system you would have. For those who didn't mail those cards it their prob and they are SOL...... Oh well I would buy the premium system anyways......
