I agree with you 100% tinman. After going through the first part of the game, the arrow got on my nerves. So I paused, and went through the options and disabled it. That alone will add a good bit of time to the game. Also, I can't stress how important it is to make sure you go into every single room, look behind everything, etc. This game is definately one you want to take slow, and take it all in.

Get a good nights sleep fellas, because tomorrow..you're all going to Rapture!

I am paranoid about this game. Was there any spoiler-ish stuff in his post?

Nope, nothing at all. Just made some great suggestions on how to play the game, but nothing story related.

No idea, I never got queasy with Halo 2. Did you download the demo ODogg? If you did, the game is exactly the same control wise. Without a doubt, the game looks great in 1080p.

Holic how long do you think the game will be based on what you've played?

I'd say the reports for 20 hours or more is fairly accurate. I only have 2 hours tops into the game. tinman got the game over the weekend, he might be able to answer that question better.

I am trying to get the demo now but it's too late to play it tonight, i'll check it out tomorrow and if I'm engrossed maybe buy the game then. I only get sick in games where the main character doesn't walk straight basically, like if his field of view bobs up and down when he walks. Is that the case here?

Yeah it doesn't look good for ya Dogg, sorry. The opening scene your bobbing in water from a plane wreck. The game also takes place in an underwater city.

i don't play first person games at all but I am all over this one. the concept is original and fresh ans something i've always wanted to have done in a video game the underwater Utopia(as strange as it sounds) has always been a wonderous thing for me and this tweaks it and tweaks til that childhood like of mine from anything Atlantis gets warped with a great vision of it like this adult oriented game

No, the only time his view bobs up/down/side to side is if he gets hit, with a pipe, or a wrench, etc.

Download the demo tonight while you sleep, and get up about 15-20 minutes early in the morning before work. You'll be able to get a feel of the game in that time frame.

The opening scene you're floating in the water, and in the 2 hours I've played I've walked through water a few times. But nothing like the opening scene where you actually swam.

Hey guys, I just finished the demo and it was crazy, loved it. I didn't get sick either. Anyone know any place this game is on sale? Was it on sale at CC for $49.99? I may have to get this one as it is a great change from all the football I been playing lately.
