This is a very bad idea on Microsofts part I bought a gaming machine not to watch TV on it for a fee. Whats next? Music downloads? bad enough we have these nickel and dime games that are god awful and free on the internet via a PC or heck even my HTPC but 10 bucks on Xbox Live. I got my TIVO and my DVR for that stuff thank you. Yet another way to get into our pockets. I hope people dont actually buy into this stuff. Lets focus on quality games first cant we? Is that too much to ask?

I don't get it. So you won't use it. Other people might want to. What difference does it make to you, if Microsoft and DirecTV strike a deal?

As for my thoughts, I think it's pretty cool. If the hardware has the capabilities, why not utilize them?
