Wow, impressive. Took me about five or six tries. I kept doing worse each time too. The first time I faced him he only had a little bit of health left when I died, so I thought it wasn't going to be that tough. But wow, the next four times I got abused by him.

Yes, Multiplayer is absolutely terrible in this game. I can't see how anyone plays it very long. Only game type even worth playing is Fugative, and even it's a mess.Comment

I admitted a few times to playing the game on easy, it's one thing if I lied and said that I was playing on a harder difficulty setting, while playing the game on Easy.Comment

Just joking around man, you can dish it very well.........but when dished back sometimes you don't like.

I just didn't get the beating games thing, when I've beat a lot more games than you looking at XBL cards, that was all. It's all good!
I know, I was just messing with you about it. You never said you weren't playing on easy, I was just commenting on how you said you beat the boss first try compared to the other poster who took a few times, who had said earlier he was playing on normal thinking of going to extreme. Just a joke.

That hardest boss on Easy and no joke was that damn spider in Mission 9. All the bosses after that were so easy, granted I was playing on Easy. I hope if LP2 does ever see the day of light that Capcom fixes the problems that we have experienced with this one and Multiplayer is just so-so, I now know what you were talking about EG that it wasn't that great. Granted, I don't play a lot of MP, I know when something is subpar in that dept.Comment

Re: Lost Planet (Xbox 360)
Agreed, I do think the single player is pretty good and could be a great franchise. But MP feels totally tacked on. Seeing this game come out, I feel if they took out the MP portion and focused even more on SP, it could have been a great, great game. I see why Bioshock is not going to spend the time on a MP add on.
Also, they should really think out the Thermal Energy depletion a bit more. It should go down slower in in-door areas, and it shouldn't be going down at all when you are 5 feet from lava. C'mon!Comment

Re: Lost Planet (Xbox 360)
Imo I think multiplayer feels tacked on because it likely was tacked on - but I don't say that in a bad way. Seeing how solid the demo was way back when it released last year, I'm sure they probably could've brought the game out a lot earlier. I'm guessing it was Microsoft that wanted them to hold off releasing it when they could've. I'm really not sure how much more they could've tweaked the SP game other than to make it longer; personally I think the game is fantastic, and given the level of challenge, SP has a lot of replayability (I haven't gotten past stage 7 yet though).
While MP is really unbalanced and can be glitchy, I'm surprised it runs as smoothly as it does given the amount of stuff going on at any point. And for people like me that aren't seriously into hardcore multiplayer, it's a nice diversion to be able to jump in and out of from the core game.HBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

I thoroughly enjoyed it, but it could have been a little longer. Certain other minimal improvements would have made it over-all better. Like being able to use your grapling hook while jumping. I don't want to be swingling around like Spider-man mind you, you could be limited to only using it once, but for that initial shot you should be allowed to be in the air.

This update is currently scheduled to go live for all Lost Planet players around the globe on or about March 9.
Updates
* In the pre-game lobby, a country flag icon will be shown next to the Gamertag of each player. This will be especially helpful for determining location of the match host.
* In the pre-game lobby, an icon will be added next to each player’s Gamertag, indicating connection strength, speed and rating.
* In Team Elimination, Post Grab and Fugitive modes, an indicator will be added next to the Gamertag of the person who is speaking.
* At the post-match Results screen, an indicator will be added next to the Gamertag of the person who is speaking.
* At the post-match Results screen, Gamertags of the players who have left the session will be darkened.
Bug Fixes
* Sometimes in Fugitive mode there would be multiple Fugitives instead of just one - Fixed
* Occasionally, if an error occurred on the lobby screen, another lobby screen would be displayed on top of it - Fixed
* Sometimes when there was a long delay/lag, the game would hang at the transition screen going from the lobby to the game and then reboot - Fixed
* Sometimes when there was a long delay/lag, depending on the console, certain players in the match would become invisible for the duration of the match - Fixedhttp://www.myspace.com/phillthegenesis
