I used to throw my controllers all the time. I still get pissed but not like I used to.

I never been the mad type with video games. In fact, I like when games challenge me mentally and love when a games AI gets the best of me. The worse I ever got with a game is with a EA sports game. The cheating drives me crazy. Thats why I stopped playing most of their games.

Anyway, I had a cousin who had such a hot temper when it came to games. He once threw his Sega Genesis into a wall and it smashed to pieces. He broke so many controllers, I did'nt want him to play my consoles.

If I ever got that worked up about gaming, I'd stop gaming completly. Also, I would just say no to him playing my consoles unless he was ready to pay for new controllers.

Yea, he did have a anger management problem. He's dead now but he would seriously want to fight over these games back in the day. I remember I beat him in a game of Madden, he must of had a coniption and kicked a hole in his door.

I still remember that Sega Genesis though. After it smashed to pieces, he took the biggest bulk of the now destroyed console and tossed it out the door. Thank god it was'nt mine.

I was just wondering because when I'm playing one and it's not going my way I have a temper problem. For example, I busted out God of War a couple weeks ago trying to beat the stupid thing on God mode and I couldn't do it so I smashed my controller into the floor and broke it. That was the 2nd controller that I've broken since I bought my ps2 about 5 years ago. I have also been known to throw something else random thats just sitting near my tv that I play the game on.

It's like I'm looking in the mirror. LOL.

yup i have serious anger issues i have broken like 6 controllers, punched holes in various walls, kicked the hell out of hampers, doors, kicked the ps2 once and destoyed it im on my 3rd now. Hmmmm

Same here. I went through two PS2's, a controller (smashed to the floor), and 3 copies of Madden (2002, and two 2003). Madden was the only game to get me explosive until I played NBA 2K6 online with all the cherry-picking, stealing inbound passes, and all the dunking NONSTOP! That **** just takes the cake and my nerves go through the roof!

I've taken the advise from someone here before to just put the controller down and start clapping. It works most of the time.

My brother gets mad and slams things but I'm not like that. I might get frustrated sometimes but I never throw things. I don't see the point of throwing anything. But I do get mad when I play online and somebody cheats.

I have a scar on the knuckle on my middle finger from punching my remote after, I'm going to say probably Madden.

Of course, I wasn't smart enough to only punch my remote once...but hit it once, the battery casing thing flew off and hit it again on the same exact spot...I was picking my own skin off of my remote...kinda gross.

I've gotten better since then.(That was like...a few months ago, lol)
