    Please tell me about Gamefly

I have a pass from Hollywood Video but they never have games in and only get one or two copies. I have been thinking about Gamefly since I can't afford all the games I want to play. So:

    1) When a new game comes out what are the chances of getting it right away? If not then how long is the wait usually?

    2) Is this a good service?

    3) How is the customer service?

    Thanks in advance.

I have found that if you time your mailing right it is actually pretty easy to get games on release. Usually there is a 2 day timetable from when the game is released to have great chances of getting a new release.

The service is pretty good now that they have added fast return. Typically overall it takes 4 days to get a game, but from what I have heard it depends on how close you are to their hub.

I have only had to deal with their customer service once and was pleased with it.

Edit: As SoMiss said they do allow you to keep new games for cheaper than the store and they ship out a case and manual free to you if you decide to keep them. Gamefly is great because it allows me to play games that I know I want to play but shouldnt buy. Tiger Woods is a good example as is Full Auto or Gun. I cant see myself buying either but I see myself enjoying them but maybe not as much to make it worth a purchase.

Gamefly is pretty damn good. I have no complaints. You can get 2 games for $20 per month. Keep'em as long as you want witht he option to buy. I usually get games back in about 3 to 4 days. For instance, i'll send a game in on a Tuesday, they get it thrusday and ship out the next one in my que but i normally get the new one the following monday. I now have COD and Tiger Woods out now and have the option to buy for $47.99. I've had no problems with them, customer service is pretty good.

It has saved me some money as i've only purchased NBA 2K6 and Kameo since launch.
