I think some of you guys need to relax, I ordered one from the Datel site and I will wait. For the guys who say they will get in in a store, I say good luck, I bet the guys who did ordered it from DAtel's website will be the first to get it, the store will then follow. Plus it was only like $23, and that included shipping, I mean I think some need to chill a bit, it will be here soon.

I'm sure it will arrive soon enough - possibly even this week. However, I don't like the business practices I've seen from them so far. They've lured everyone in and accepted a ton of pre-orders under false pretenses that they already have the device. It still says "Available" on their site when Aaron and I have now found out it's not. That just seems a little shady to me.

I'm glad that you are ok with waiting while they hold on to your money for an undetermined amount of time. Sure its only 23 bucks but usually when I preorder something I like to know when its coming out. According to Datel, there isnt a release date. When there is I will order one again.

I hear what you and JB are saying, but maybe it is coming out this week and they just can't tell you the exact date at this point for some reason, that why they said they don't have a date. Maybe there shipment is coming in today or tomorrow and then they will ship. I just think people are getting so bent out of shape for nothing at this point, let wait and see what happens this week, thats all I'm saying.

They should never charge you before they ship it, and it's not even in stock. If you are fine with that, so be it. But I'm not.

Hmm. I wonder what I'm getting via UPS tomorrow then, I have two packages coming, one is my sneakers, and I assumed the other would be this because I have nothing else due to arrive.

Much commends aholbert32 I was beginning to think that OS had some sort of favoritism towards this product, when there are others out there that do the job now with more features and it is sad they are not being given a fair shake here. Datel Ltd. and its Planned Obstinence tacticts are nothing new. Anyone old enough to have owned a commodore 64 in the early 80s can remember that Datel is no Angel here. These are the same guys selling a save game transfer device for the PSP@!$% duh! My best tip for everyone is do some research and if you must buy into this product then wait to see if it actually is released first then see if it works as advertised.

If you are like me and tired of all the Datel shennanigans (sp?) then just build one yourself... All you need is a USB extension cable, some resistors and a soldering iron. (You don't have to take your memory card apart either) Here are photos of some one elses build as I didn't take any pictures of mine. It only took about 10 minutes to build. I had an old USB port and usb cable already so the only thing I needed to buy was a pack of resistors for .99 cents at radio shack.
