Do we have to order it from Datel, or can we get it from stores like Gamestop or Best Buy? Going to be cool to get some rosters.

Re: ACTION REPLAY 360 Shown
I can say this, word is out about this. I picked up a memory card tonight at Gamestop and the guy said they had sold 7 of them today already including mine. I was the 4th to mention the Action Replay.Comment

Re: ACTION REPLAY 360 Shown
Smart thinking by Datel & MS. I think that MS didn't allow Datel to package this with a memory card, hence they could release it at a $15 price point and then MS could sell $40 memory cards.
I don't care, I'm still buying these.Comment

They really havent worked out anything and Microsoft would sue if they had grounds. Datel has a huge reverse engineering lab, they also rip off the console scene who does this stuff for fun. Datel found away around it without violating any copyright laws but Microsoft said it was not allowed and would sue if they tried to release it or even simpler release a firmware update via Xbox Live to disallow this thing from even working. We will see.Comment

Do you have this anywhere? I mean, where are you getting this info from? From looking at your gamercard, you don't even have a 360, so I'm very curious.Originally posted by freezeframeThey really havent worked out anything and Microsoft would sue if they had grounds. Re: ACTION REPLAY 360 Shown
The console scene also uses software like this to steal games. I'm glad to see what Datel is doing because if MS ever got wind of what people were planning to do at with the X360 Explorer software (trading Live Arcade games etc.), they would shut that down in a minute. I seriously doubt MS will do anything to stop this unless they plan on releasing their own transfer kit and even then they would have less grounds to sue. MS and its game developers know that Datel's AR and Max Drive did nothing but help sell Xboxes and more games.Originally posted by freezeframeThey really havent worked out anything and Microsoft would sue if they had grounds. Re: ACTION REPLAY 360 Shown
I'm glad to see what Datel is doing as well. I just wish people would use the AR as it's intended and not to mod or hack games and cause headaches for Microsoft. Short of a few maps for Far Cry Instincts, I've only used my AR for rosters.Comment

Re: ACTION REPLAY 360 Shown
I just hate that people would cause M$ to have to make up new software to block these things. I could care less about what they use it for, but I'm sure that every second M$ is working on an update to counter the bull out there is an extra second wasted on enhancing my gaming experience. I just hope that it's legit and I can use the mother sucker for College Hoops, Live's, 2K's, and other games to come.Comment

Re: ACTION REPLAY 360 Shown
Link please? I see this thing being released w/out a mem card so you have to buy the MS brand card. This way MS wins buy selling memory cards to people that probably already have HDD's and to people that didn't buy the Premium console.Originally posted by freezeframeThey really havent worked out anything and Microsoft would sue if they had grounds. It's a win-win situation for MS.Comment
