Seems like the dev team spent a lot of time on the water, because it's on another level compared to the surroundings.

Honestly, aside from the water (which is absolutely gorgeous), it doesn't look a whole lot different from the current Xbox version...

The frame rate is much better, which is more important than the water but yeah overall almost identical to the original Xbox version.

The 360 has been so disappointing, graphically. And with a new system you always have 10 or so games in your mind to look forward to in the next 6-12 months but there's next to nothing at the moment and Far Cry doesn't come close either.

I agree that the 360 should not be compared to the Dreamcast.
That would be an insult... to the DC.

Even if that was true you have to blame the developers, not the console.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I sort of agree, but it's hard to impress overall when 70% of the library consists of ports. The ports will continue until the the PS3 and Revolution drop. Also the majority of these 3rd party publishers aren't going to make games from the ground up for the 360, which not only requires a big budget, but the install base for the 360 is small at the moment. With this said, I think Kameo, PGR3, FNR3, and GRAW are definitely worthy of the tag next-gen.

I can name close to 20 games i'm looking forward to in the next 6-12 months. A lot of games haven't been announced yet, and it's obvious Microsoft is saving these for E3, so they don't get put on the back burner with Nintendo and Sony having blowouts of their next-gen consoles.
