    Gamestop/EB .... trading games/systems in

I'm sure most of you already know that last year Gamestop bought out EB Games (aka electronics boutique).

I had the chance to work in both companies and I'm not going to say which one I liked better, since both had some pretty lousy points... but...

    Trade in Prices.

EB used to have the higher trade values (stilll not like anything you could get on EBAY) while Gamestop's prices were anywhere from 3-10 bucks less for the same game (at that given time).

It's all offical now and all the stores are now as one company, so for you EB shoppers you'll be seeing even lower trade prices than before.

Like many others here have stated, seriously, consider EBay.

Exactly, I have on a few occasions received more then I thought I would have elsewhere.

$35 for Tony Hawk Underground for the PSP.
$84 for Madden and NCAA 06 and the old version of Office Space.

It certainly comes in handy when you have a huge amount of credit on the account and I was able to leave it there for the work week. Took care of snacks, soda and the occasional movie I wanted to pick up.

Does the Blockbuster have to have the special "game store", whatever the name is, to sell/trade your game?
