How long do you have to send the card in for the extended warranty?

I think 90 days is the limit. They let me order it five days before the 90 days was up.

You are right. They say send it in asap, but you can still get it no matter when you get the system. How do they know when you bought it anyway.

Unless you register your system, they can't know. If you register your system with MS, or get online with it, you have as long as you need to send it in. Once you do that though, you have 90 days.

Dookie, I think once you go online, you register your system with MS. From that point, you have 90 days to buy the extended warranty.

I'm sure if you turned around and called them up to buy one, they'd go ahead and let you, but I think the paper says 90 days from the day you register.

The warranty card says to send it in within 10 days.

You guys think I should write down the real date I got it and they'll take it anyway, or just write down a day in the last 10 days?

18004myxbox is the way to go. I bought one, without any questons and it was after my 90 days was up. it has nothing to do with registering your 360 or getting online with it. mine was registered and i had been online many times. They want your money, don't worry.
