At first I didnt. It was plugged in but not fully, so everyone was like "Retro, change teams, press x, hit y", and noone could hear me...lol I eventually got it though.


I forgot all about that in the lobby. I have to get used to this stuff again.

Couple of questions. How do you get your teamates to heal each other and can you move teamates individually?

Look at the fallen soldier and usually the "up option" on the d-pad turns into a heal command from another soldier. Doing it yourself is done with the Y button. I haven't tried but I would guess you can do it from the little computer overlay thing too. I'm not sure how to move teamates individually though, so far as I can tell it's not possible. Hasn't bothered me though because when I do want to split off I go myself and send them elsewhere...

Agreed, Last night was a blast, I had a lot of fun, With are all a bunch of goofballs, we all had jokes, it was great. I loved watching the matches with Shawn running around with the rocket launcher, and then getting so tired he threw the grenade to kill himself with 5 seconds remaining, thats was classic. I will be on tonight no doubt, I think I will play a lot longer tonight, I did get to say goodbye to you guys last night because I lost connection, so I said screw them.......LOL. I think I had a bullseye on my back last night, eveytime the match started I wa already dead......LOL. I think this is one of the best games I played period, I will play a lot more of the single game this weekend, plus I know Ubi will give us some new boards to download in the future, this game will be fresh from quite some time.

I loved watching the matches with Shawn running around with the rocket launcher, and then getting so tired he threw the grenade to kill himself with 5 seconds remaining, thats was classic.

LOL, i forgot about that. It was hilarious, as soon as it hit that wall and came back, i started laughing my a$$ off. it was great. just one of many classic moments to come i'm sure.

Just remember, when I was sitting right up from Dagger I believe, he didn't know I was there. I had the sniper rifle which absolutely sucks for close range combat. Anyway, I fired off about 5 shots, and he wouldn't die... So I reloaded, and fired off a few more and he still wouldn't go down.... So finally I went after him, and he seen me, but I guess I forgot to reload, neither one of us could hit each other... finally... he whips out a grenade, and tosses it towards me, and as I turn aroudn to run, there was nothing but a brick wall, lol.

Come to find out, I was shooting the brick piller right in front of me, I just didn't know it, lol.

Dagger? As in the Dagger who who used to play a ton of Raven Shield and was in ITAF for a while?

I picked up the regular Xbox version of this game tonight to get me through until April 1st when I'm supposed to get my 360.

Let me start by saying that I am not impressed with this version. IMO the graphics are a step down when compared GR2. Up until now I have been playing GR2 on a nightly basis and this game has deepened my starvation for the next gen version. I miss the over-the-shoulder 3rd person cam and the ability to go prone. I don't understand why they would take the prone position away, does'nt compute for me !!! After giving the single player campaign about an hour worth of gameplay, I moved on to Xbox live. Yet more disappointment. This is the part of the game that I spent the most time online with GR2 and GRAW just does'nt come close to gaming experience that GR2 gives me. I will definitely give it some more time, but my desire to play the 360 version has just increased exponentially !!!!

I know that most of guys who are posting on this thread have the 360 version. But I'm wondering if anyone else has seen the XBox version ??? What do you think ??

Since writing that last night, I went back in for awhile and tried several different maps and just don't see an upgrade. I also hate how my player moves when using the left thumbstick. At times (online or offline) the movements seem to be unresponsive with my character actually slowing down and speeding up when moving from point A to point move (moving cover to cover). It goes without saying but I'm just not digging this game on the Xbox.......$50 that could have spent on something else down the drain !!!

Only 3 more weeks and GRAW 360 will be in my hands !!! THAT'S AN ETERNITY TO ME...... Waaaaaaaaaaaa

well hows the gameplay, the A.I. how does it compare to other xbox games like half-life 2 or halo? i mean if your comparing it to the 360 version its a pretty unfair because well... ur comparing it to a superior console.

I have'nt played Half Life 2 or Halo so I can't say how the AI compares to those games. My comparison was mostly between GRAW and GR2. I would say that the AI is on par with what GR2 provided. My hang up is with the visuals, especially character models, lack of a 3rd person cam, being able to go prone and my first person player movements (sometimes unresponsive and inconsistent speed when moving).

I have only seen videos of GRAW for the 360 !!! Based on my impressions of the videos and reading what people here are saying about it, I am on a mission to play this one on the 360 exclusively. Just my opinion and I'm sure others may not see it the same way.
