I think I'll finally be down to play some tonight. It's been 3-4 days, so I'll be rusty, but I'd still like to attempt to do this. Sounds like a whole lot of fun.

it is fun. Infinite spawns and enemies. They come out of the wood works on you.

The old town map is the only one i played, but im sure its even more difficult on some of the others.

Does this game have co-op split screen? Like if me and my friend want to team up on the same box and go through missions?

As far as the split screen thing, yep, you and another person can play online together. GRAW is the quality FPS you need.

I agree too, longhorn, nowhere is brutal. They swarm you from all sides.

Me, Zeke and this other kid were playing...did that level like 4 straight times trying to stay alive for 10 minutes....I go take the thing on the right...and pick 'em off as they come down the hill.

Suddenly....they get smart and come up behind me, so I'm stuck between guys coming down the hill, and guys coming down the road turning and coming up behind me

Holy Cow.

I just played a new game type and had a BLAST...

I was playing with one of my friends Co-op defend (think siege, where you defend against the cpu) and we put it on infinite enemies with infinite spawns (although that doesnt matter, because once your dead, you are going to lose, at least when there are only two people playing together)

Anyways, we are playing on Old Town, and there are really two entrances to that base, so one guy takes one way and the other guy takes the other one. We get out the big machine guns, set up shop, and do our best to hold them off. To win, we put it on a 15 min timer, and basicly try to hold them off until the time is up....

There were several times we didnt last a min... but each time we had more fun trying to hold them off...

The last game we played we managed to hold them off for 6 min... However we had already used 75% of our ammo, so we were having to get conservative... but it costs us as my buddy went down, causing me to get flanked, and leaving 30 bad guys storming the base taking us down as we respawned.

It was a blast.. by the way in that last game, i had 120 kills while my bud had 97... in 6 min

Yeah, Co-Op Defend Base Siege matches are very fun. It's even better with no respawns as opposed to infinite. I ran a lot of those rounds in the original GR and Island Thunder.

And I'm surprised no one has thought about running Pistols Only rounds in multiplayer Team or Solo modes with a set number if respawns in this game yet (or no respawns if you're feeling gutsy). It's a nice change of pace event to run a few times to complete a night full of Siege and Elimination rounds.

Yeah that was pretty cool. The AI is pretty weak sometimes, but there were so many guys that you couldn't relax for a minute. Running into the middle of the gun fire to try and pickup a gun with bullets in it made the game pretty exciting. I bet that mode would be awesome on some of the other maps.

Running in the middle of gunfire to pick up a gun on the ground? Blah... boring.

Whenever you're close to being out of ammo in your primary gun, why not try to wait until a single enemy gets close to you (just a few steps away), off him with your pistol, then take his gun? It's an effective move, plus you get cool style points for taking the risk of letting a guy get close enough to buck 'em down with the 9mm.
