XBOX Live question....

I'm seriously considering signing up for XBox Live now that I have my 360 but I need some help from you guys. I have NEVER been online with any previous systems and I'm just curious...is it really worth the price? I need some people's opinions here. It's either Live or pick up another game,lol. If it helps any I play primarily sports games with the occasional Call Of Duty type stuff when the sports get boring.

I find it's completely worth it.

Especially if you're into sports games (which most OS peeps are), the excitement you'll get from online games will make them your most memorable gaming experiences. Once you start playing with guys you know (and trust), it's a blast.

I agree. I don't like playing with random people very much, but I love playing with guys I get to know.

Doesn't the 360 offer free weekend play?

Thanks for the responses...think maybe I'll have to get Live and give it a shot. I'm just going to have to find the right people to play and hopefully no cheesers. Man if I didn't know what the thread was about and just started reading I'd swear it was about something else,lol.

You get a free 30 day trial with the 360. I didn't like it too much. Stole the free trial card from Burnout so I'll try that and DOA 4 online soon,maybe those will be better than PGR 3,NHL 2K6 and PDZ.

If you only want it for Xbox then I'm not sure it would be worth it since most people will probably be playing sports on the 360.
