New to GRAW ?

This is the first time I have ever played a Ghost Recon title, I am not complaining but DAMN!!!! This game is really the S**T. Now on to my? Where can I go to get info maybe Strategy guide of some sort. For me this has been overwhelming, but Super at the same time. Could be I am just impatient? Thanks to all who reply in advance. PEACE!!!!!!

The game just came out today. Of course you're being impatient. Give it some time. Strategy guide? C'mon! If you get stuck on a particular part, you can go to gamefaqs for help but I doubt anyone has an faq up at this point. Most of these games are trial and error, so you don't have to feel bad about getting killed a gazillion times before you figure it out.

I have never understood a stategy guide. Isnt most of the fun in learning and playing the game itself, rather than being shown what to do instead? I have never looked at our bought one, but maybe im in the minority on this one.

Since you are new I'll spare you most of the stuff you can read in a book. I've been playing for about 4 hours and the thing online that is driving me crazy is friendly fire. If your team is red your teamates will also be outlined in red. DON'T SHOOT YOUR TEAMATES!! This has appened in just bout every game I have played online atleast once.

exactly. it's totally different from COD and the RB6 series.

RB6 is only arcadey on the consoles, though I'm not sure about Lockdown for the PC.

I'm new to Ghost Recon too. However I've played a lot of the Rainbow Six titles on both the PC and Xbox. This game is awesome and the best shooter I've played in a long time (so far I think it's a bit better than my former best shooter, COD2). I played for about 3 hours last night and thought it was like 30 minutes. It sure is like stepping into a timewarp because you get so into the game and move forward so slowly, lest you die. I was sweating bullets near the end of some of those missions, LOL! Very incredible game!
