And an AAC1 audio cable to connect the speakers, if your speakers don't have the red and white connections etc. -

if you wanna connect to your Computer, while its on, you can get something like this

RCA type Y.
you can plug that into your soundcard and output sound from your speakers (the speakers will still be connected to the computers soundcard too. just plug into into the audio IN jack.Last edited by RubenDouglas; 03-09-2006, 11:32 PM.Comment

Alright, I went out and bought the official Xbox 360 VGA cables, and it came with the RCA Y. Now, the picture is beautiful on my 19'' LCD, but I can't get the sound to work. The speakers are built into the monitor, so I plugged them into my computer. Anyone know the fix here?? I'm at a dead end..

Yup I tried that and it worked great until I bought a new 27" LCD/HDTV with an 8ms Refresh rate with PIP and Surround Sound for $500. After that purchase I returned cables to Best Buy.Originally posted by Admiral50http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360vgahdcable/

I too have a 17" Viewsonic Flat Panel and it worked incredibly well with the 360.

You have to unmute the line-in on your sound card, which I guess you figured out.Originally posted by HolicAlright, I went out and bought the official Xbox 360 VGA cables, and it came with the RCA Y.
