Got one for christmas. Awesome little machine. Even my wife picks it up and plays some of the games as well. Moreso then with any other game system i have had.


Advanced wars and mario kart absolutely rock.

It's the best handheld I've ever used. I love it and still play it about every few nights. Online play with Mario Kart is flawless as well. Plus it plays all the GBA games.

If you want one, wait and get the Lite though. Smaller.

An aweome system with very original and creative games. Even the franchise games like Mario Games, Animal Crossing, Advanced Wars are awesome.

If you can wait a couple of months i'd wait to see what the DS Lite will look like. It looks a little too small for me but it does look sweet.

I would definately wait until the ds lite comes out as the screen brightness is 5x brighter than the current one which really makes the colors shine. I probably will pick one up even though I already have the old version.

The games are really great and have some original ideas as well.

I'd say half or more of the library consists of GBA sequels, so being a fan of that system would defenitely help. The other portion is the quirky games like Tramua center.

i'm 29 and i think it's a great system.

i play it almost every day on the train to work.

get mario kart, tony hawk, and mario 64. i haven't played the mario rpgs yet.

there are some great gba games as well.

I think the system's awesome. Games like Mario Kart and Castlevania are great.... not to mention how much of a fresh feel on gaming it is to play Trauma Center and Ace (that lawyer game) Something....

Plus the GBA library has something fore everyone, regardless of age and genre..

I'm actually considering buying the DS Lite when it comes over here. Haven't bought a handheld ever before, but this one caught my eye.
