Ubisoft announced today that Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter had record sales in its first week.
"Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter had the best ever first-week sales peformance for our company and is looking like a major commercial success," Chairman Yves Guillemot said in the statement.
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter for Xbox 360 shipped to North American stores last week and has sold more than 240,000 copies. In Europe, sales of the game in France, Germany and UK exceeded 120,000 units over just three days.
