No, the 360 doesn't have HDMI or DVI inputs.

        Which is a dissapointement.

One of the thinks I was hoping the system would have was HDMI/DVI out.

The PS3 will have it though.

whats the difference, I really see no big difference or a difference at all from HDMI to Component.

Depends on the individual. I hooked my cable box up with both HDMI and component a while ago to see.

I could see a difference with HDMI. The colors were more vibrant and the picture seemed cleaner to me.

I have my cable box connected with HDMI, my DVD player connected with DVI and 360 with component. My DVD player I couldn't tell a difference between DVI or component. I just went with DVI because I had the cable.

I had my cable box hooked up through Component first for like week when I got my HDTV, every since then i had it hooked up through HDMI, I don't see really any difference, I seems like a waste that I spend like $60 on a monster HDMI cable. Thats just me.

I can see a difference, but it's not drastic. I think it depends on the TV and the individual of course. Either way and I'd be happy.

I think I got my TV about a year ago and when the cable guy was over, we hooked both component and HDMI up. I thought HDMI looked better, he though component looked better. I left both hooked up and asked the lady what she thought. She preferred HDMI as well so I left it like that.

To the best of my knowledge, HDMI will allow for the signal to be digital throughout. Component requires for the signal to be converted on both ends.

There is nothing stopping MS from developing a HDMI cable for the 360.
