Re: HDMI/DVI
Originally posted by FootballForeverwhats the difference, I really see no big difference or a difference at all from HDMI to Component.
I could see a difference with HDMI. The colors were more vibrant and the picture seemed cleaner to me.
I have my cable box connected with HDMI, my DVD player connected with DVI and 360 with component. My DVD player I couldn't tell a difference between DVI or component. I just went with DVI because I had the cable.Comment

Re: HDMI/DVI
Originally posted by FootballForeverI had my cable box hooked up through Component first for like week when I got my HDTV, every since then i had it hooked up through HDMI, I don't see really any difference, I seems like a waste that I spend like $60 on a monster HDMI cable. Thats just me.
I think I got my TV about a year ago and when the cable guy was over, we hooked both component and HDMI up. I thought HDMI looked better, he though component looked better. I left both hooked up and asked the lady what she thought. She preferred HDMI as well so I left it like that.
To the best of my knowledge, HDMI will allow for the signal to be digital throughout. Component requires for the signal to be converted on both ends.Comment
