Ah I see. So does the intercooler make a huge difference in cooling the system? I would imagine it's blowing more air out the back.
1)Can you feel more air being pushed out the back?
2)How's the noise level of the fans?
Hey when you get a chance try this test to see how effective the Intercooler really is. Use a Kleenex then a sheet of paper for the test. First remove the Intercooler, then turn on the 360. Take your Kleenex and place it in front and close to the sides of the 360. See if the Kleenex trys to move towards the vent holes as if it were going to be sucked into the unit. Then use the piece of paper which is more rigid and will take more air to get it to move towards the vent holes.
Now install the Intercooler and try the test again and see if the both the Kleenex and sheet of paper gets pulled faster towards the vent holes. If it does then it shows that the Intercooler is sucking and pulling more air from all the vent holes of the 360 thereby naturally cooling the machine.Comment

The noise is the one drawback for me. It makes it sound much louder and you can hear the 3 fans running. If it keeps my system cool, I have no complaints.
If I get a chance, I'll try this test tomorrow night. I really think it's pulling air as it feels like it.Comment

Now, uninstall the intercooler, go put on a white t-shirt and a baseball cap and power the XBox up with Halo2 inside while singing any song originally recorded by the Temptations. Then tell me what happens... :wink:Comment

Why don't you just buy some dry ice, and put the 360 in it and then play.Comment
